Went to a body shop a few years ago to get a shopping cart dent buffed out. Fast forward to now, I take my car to the dealer to sell my car, dealer tells me because my carfax has a damage report, we have to lower the quoted price. I didn't know why there was a damage report as I have never filed any police reports or have been in any accidents. Turns out the date of the damage report was the same date I was at the body shop. I didn't even have the work done on the car, I just got a QUOTE for the work. Turns out the software the body shop uses to make the estimates automatically sells the information about your car that the mechanic inputs. I called the body shop up, and the owner was livid. He had no idea that was going on. He called the company and ripped them a new one. I had the carfax fixed because that was completely illegal. Be careful out there, we're dealing with a next level type of evil and we have to be careful and be smart.

MSRP is 31k and 25ish MPG .....it is not a looker and engine options put it up against Mitsubishi outlander, RAV4, and cr-v. And to me it's less reliable than the other three. It's basically an Alfa Romeo.

recalls don't necessarily mean BAD. you'd have to examine the recall on a case by case. BUT- classifying an over the air update as a RECALL? I smell big auto lobby & big oil HARD at work. they did an expose' on this issue on the 'now you know' chanel- if you subtract the ota's? tesla has less problems than ALL cars EVER.

I expected RAM to be on there. Yes they are garbage vehicles and ride the bottom of the build quality and reliability lists. But I’ve known tons of people who just think they are the bees knees. They think they look cool, make them seem tough….it’s an image thing, and I can literally show them multiple sources showing their vehicles are at the bottom of quality and reliability, and they don’t care. I’ve had coworkers with Rams have problem after problem after problem….but they go and buy another one. Like I said I feel like their image or identity is tied to it. They really feel like it’s an extension of them. These people are the only reason why Dodge and Ram aren’t out of business completely. They’ve successfully sold an image, in spite of their failures to sell good quality vehicles.
